Lost in a Musical Company

Elizabeth Bishop

Elizabeth Bishop was raised in Kamsack, Saskatchewan. She started performing from an early age in Ukrainian Dance competitions and later found SaskExpress. Elizabeth is a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts where she received training in singing, dancing, and acting for both stage and screen. This will be Elizabeth's 8th Summer Tour, it is by far her favourite and she is excited to share it with everyone!

Julia Boyd

Julia is pleased to return to her Saskatchewan stomping grounds and join this talented cast for her first summer tour! She has spent the last two years as an artist with Mystic Ballet company in Connecticut, where she had the opportunity to dance with an all-international cast. She performed lead roles in Holiday Spectacular, Flesh, and Exposure. 

Julia grew up studying all genres in Saskatoon, including earning her Advanced II RAD ballet (ARAD) and Intermediate III ADAPT jazz. While competing, she was consistently awarded for her technique and joyful stage presence. She takes every chance to participate in workshops, intensives, and conventions. These include performing with Level Up Dance Company, NUVO on scholarship, auditioned summer schools at the National Ballet School of Canada and Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Goh Ballet, SaskPro Dance, and many others. 

Alongside her own dancing career, she adores teaching at several local studios and organizations, giving dancers a safe, enriching space to explore dance in a creative and encouraging way. Julia achieved her Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) through the Royal Academy of Dance in 2023. In the past few years her choreography has been awarded for its originality and entertainment. Enjoy the show!

 

Kaelyn Coulthard

Kaelyn is so excited to be a part of the 2025 Summer Tour! This will be her fourth summer show with SaskExpress. She has been singing since the age of two, and practicing theatre since the age of ten. Kaelyn grew up performing at SaskExpress Saskatoon, and thanks them for her passion and drive for theatre!

After moving to Regina in 2022, Kaelyn decided to pursue her passion for performing, and also began exploring her passion for teaching. She takes great pride in her students’ growth and accomplishments! Watching her students grow and develop their own love for the arts is the most impactful part of her teaching journey. She hopes to continue to create and develop both her own and her students’ love and passion for the arts!

Peyton Davidson

Peyton is so excited to be a part of the 2025 SaskExpress Summer Tour! This will be Peyton’s first year with SaskExpress and she is so grateful for the opportunity to perform, tour Saskatchewan, and be surrounded by an amazing team! Peyton is a 16-year-old from Regina, Saskatchewan and has grown up as a competitive dancer. Peyton started dancing at the age of two and has been in love with it ever since. She loves learning new styles such as lyrical, ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, acrobatics, and tap. 

Peyton is a proud student of the Balfour Arts Collective and loves to learn everything about performing she can. She is incredibly thankful for every opportunity she gets to perform and will continue to fall in love with it forever!

 

Jude Hawkes

Jude (he/him) is a 16-year-old performer from Treaty 4 territory in Regina. He is a member of the Balfour Arts Collective, an innovative high school program for students who are passionate about the arts. Jude has performed with Do It With Class Young People's Theatre, Sterling Productions, and Regina Little Theatre. He is thrilled to be a member of the SaskExpress summer touring company for the first time.

Liesel Horejda

Liesel is thrilled to be part of the 2025 SaskExpress Summer Tour! This is Liesel’s second summer with SaskExpress and she is excited and thankful for the opportunity for another summer of performing and touring Saskatchewan! Liesel is a 17 year old from Regina, Saskatchewan and grew up as a competitive Highland Dancer. Liesel began embracing her love of musical theatre in high school and is very proud to be a graduate of the Balfour Arts Collective, where she had the opportunity to play Belle in Beauty and the Beast and Sharpay in High School Musical: on Stage!

The more opportunities Liesel has to sing and perform, the more she falls in love with the stage. This fall, Liesel will attend Sheridan College in Ontario to pursue an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music Theatre Performance.

 

Sadie Kendel

Sadie is thrilled to be a part of another summer with SaskExpress! She is an aspiring artist with a passion for performing arts. Sadie grew up dancing competitively in multiple styles of dance, competing solos and groups across the country.

She has completed both jazz and tap examination syllabi through ADAPT as well as the Royal Academy of Dance's vocational ballet exam syllabus. Her recent show credits include Jolene Oaks in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Radiostiltskin in Frequency Quest. Sadie is excited for this year's summer tour and hopes you enjoy the show!

 

Isabelle Lipoth

Isabelle’s passion for dance was sparked in preschool when she busted out hip hop moves to Ice Ice Baby—and she hasn’t looked back.Since the age of six, she’s trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre, developing a strong foundation and a love for storytelling through movement.Currently, Isabelle trains with the SaskExpress Regina competitive dance program and shares her passion by teaching and assisting classes at the studio, where she inspires younger dancers to shine on and off the stage.

She is a high school student in Regina and is committed to making the performing arts a big part of her future, both on stage and behind the scenes.Isabelle is beyond excited to hit the stage in the 2025 SaskExpress summer show, Lost in a Musical!

Matt Rapley

Matt is best known for his national debut on the Canadian Idol stage back in 2007. Wowing the judges with his incredible personality, range and sheer power, he made it to the finals. Since then, he's produced one studio album and dove into the fitness world. You can follow his journey @mattrapleystrength. He's the musical artist and power builder our production is so blessed to have. 

While Matt Rapley has had a distinguished music career, he has also been involved in theatre productions since he was three. Growing up, he participated in church and school productions, so from a young age, he knew he loved singing, dancing, and acting. He has performed all over Canada, The U.S. and United Kingdom and is excited for what could be next! Matt believes that musical theatre is one of the most powerful outlets of expression. He is grateful for the opportunity to participate in this SaskExpress production and cannot wait for Saskatchewan to see it!

 

Toren Senyonga

Toren is so excited to be part of the 2025 Summer Touring Cast with SaskExpress. This is his first Summer with SaskExpress and he is so excited to be given the opportunity to perform for you today! Toren is from Regina, Saskatchewan and is 17 years old. Toren has been dancing since he was 8 years old. He started performing when he was 9 and has loved it ever since. He hopes to carry on with the performing arts after high school and hopes you enjoy the show just as much as him!

Logan Weir

Logan is a Regina actor who studied theatre at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Randolph College (TO). He is delighted to take part in his fourth production with Sask Express! Previous credits with the company include BEGUILED AGAIN, WE WILL ROCK YOU, and DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. Other notable credits include NEWSIES, THE WIZARD OF OZ, and 9 TO 5 with the Lower Ossington Theatre (TO). Logan extends his heartfelt gratitude to the creative team of Express for their constant support and inspiration.
