Drama Teacher

SaskExpress Musical Theatre Studio Saskatoon is a high-quality performing arts studio that provides opportunities for students, aged 3 to adult, to train in singing, dancing, and acting in a fun, creative, and inclusive environment. We are currently looking for high-energy and enthusiastic individuals to instruct weekly drama classes on Monday evenings and/or Saturday mornings. The ideal candidates will enjoy working with children and will be able to:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that help students develop their acting skills through various exercises and drama games.

- Teach the fundamentals of theatre performance while expanding students' imagination, creative expression, confidence, self-esteem, and teamwork skills.

- Encourage students to understand characterization and create their own characters. In some classes, with collaboration from the students, write a short script that the students will perform at the end of their class's session.

Hourly wage will be based on experience. Interested applicants can contact and/or submit a resume to Michelle Garrecht at michelle@saskexpress.com
