MELISSA PICARD

Instructor - 1 on 1 Vocal Instructor

For Melissa Picard, music has been part of her life for as long as she can remember. She began piano and voice lessons at age eight and was performing with a live band by thirteen. Over time, that early love of music grew into a passion for helping students discover their own voices, strengthen their skills, and build confidence as performers.

Melissa studied Vocal Performance at the University of Regina and earned a Bachelor of Church Music from Canadian Bible College and Seminary. Her experience includes the University of Regina Chamber Singers, productions of La Bohème and Hansel and Gretel, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with the Regina Philharmonic Chorus, Handel’s Messiah under Maestro Victor Sawa, and private and group voice instruction for children, teens, and adults.

Melissa believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to music education. She adapts her teaching to each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning style, helping them grow technically, build confidence, and express themselves authentically through music.
