Based on the beloved holiday film, this hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity. Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Everyone registered will have the opportunity to audition, be cast in the show, and then will rehearse and perform in 6 shows at The Refinery Arts Centre.

We are ready to swim Under the Sea with your child for this Mermaid and fish-themed dance camp! Join us for a swimmingly great morning of dancing, crafting, and story time! Inspired by Little Mermaid, Spongebob, and Pirates, this camp will encourage your child to explore characters and stories through music and dance, ending with a special performance!

Featuring Disney music and more favourites, your child will be introduced to dance, singing and storytelling. This camp is full of creative movement, crafts, games, music, as well as imaginative activities performed with the friends they meet on this fairytale journey! 2024 Summer Stage Programs – Week Long Camps

Join us as we sing, dance, act and perform throughout the summer with our fun themes meant to inspire and entertain. Crafts and some outdoor activities are all included as part of these action-packed weeklong events (9:00-5:00pm).  Students will work with professional theatre artists to explore voice, movement, dance, and drama. A final performance to showcase the week’s learning will happen at the end of each week.

Aye aye, maties. It’s time to sail the seven seas in search of treasure. If we’re lucky we will find some mermaids along the way. August 19th – 21st - Summer Blast Dance Intensive 

Dance the end of summer away with our annual Summer Blast Dance Intensive. A fun way to get back into your dance training and ready for the fall. Dancers will learn jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, lyrical/contemporary, progressions, and conditioning. Experience new styles and learn fresh choreography in 3 high energy and action-packed days.  Perform your new skills and choreography in a showcase at the end of the intensive.

Dance Sampler

Has your child ever wanted to experience dance, but wasn’t sure which genre to try? Do they think they're too old to start dancing or try a new style? Join us at our dance sampler day camps and put those worries to bed! We have options for new dancers without any previous dance experience and options for experienced dancers wishing to try a new style. Have fun with tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, and/or lyrical/contemporary.
