Mini Express & Expressions

Inspired by the SaskExpress Theatre Company, our two performing groups provide unique triple threat training and performance opportunities.  These groups are meant for students who are serious about performance and require a serious commitment with Saturday rehearsals and multiple performance commitments.

TeleMini Miracles

We are so excited to announce that we have been chosen to perform on Telemiracle47 this coming spring! We believe in the amazing work that Telemiracle does and we feel so lucky to have the opportunity to perform on their stage. As part of our fundraising, we're doing TeleMini Miracles! Similar to the Telemiracle helping hands that can be purchased at stores, a donation (minimum $5) buys a star to decorate our SaskExpress lobby walls. And to top it off, Nutrien has generously offered to match all donations made by Sask Talent. Let's make this an unforgettable year and fill our walls with colour and love!

Donations can be made with etransfer to, cheques made payable to SaskExpress, or by cash at the studio.

This is our apprentice group meant for performers who are at least 8 years of age.  Students in this group will all sing and dance, learning a variety of songs in their season. They will perform with the Saskatoon Expressions at a minimum of four holiday performances and during our school show tour and year end production in the spring.

The Saskatoon Expressions are our performance group creating two shows annually; a holiday show and a spring show.  Students will sing, dance and act and be challenged to excel in all areas of performance. Generally the Expressions perform at 8 – 10 events during the holiday season with an additional 20 – 30 performances throughout the year.

There are no pre requisites for either program, however because of the performance level of each group it is recommended that students be enrolled in jazz, ballet and a vocal tech program and as these are auditioned groups, preference may be given to students who are enrolled in additional programming.
