Dance Instructor - Ballet
Celina Remlinger discovered her passion for dance as an early teen. She trained intensively at Dance Ink in Saskatoon and Watrous School of Dance in Watrous. During that time, she had opportunities to dance with The Great Moscow Ballet in the Nutcracker for two seasons, at Dance on the Saskatchewan, in TeleMiracle, as well as at various halftime shows at basketball tournaments. She has also attended Ballet Jorgen's summer intensive in Toronto and spent a week dancing in Gudalajara, Mexico. After graduating, Celina trained at the Carret Dance Conservatory in Toronto, at Ballet Concierto in Cancun, Mexico, and at The School of Contemporary Dancers in Winnipeg. Throughout those years, she had many great dancing experiences training and performing. Since being back in Saskatchewan, she is a company member with Free Flow Dance Theatre in Saskatoon and has danced in the Western Canada Summer Games in 2019.
Celina is currently attending the University of Regina to obtain a degree in Arts Education. She also holds her Preschool and Module 1 certification with Acrobatic Arts, has completed Year 1 of the ADAPT Jazz certification, and holds her Modules 1 and 2 certification with Alixa Flexibility. Along with her degree, Celina hopes to work towards a Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Dancing is her favourite thing to do and she cannot wait to share it with you at SaskExpress! One thing she wants every child to remember is that it's never too late to go after your dreams!
